As a plethora of new menswear items drop every week, what can we do except add more and more of the latest in fashion to our wishlists? (Or in the most fortunate of cases, to our shopping lists). Here are my personal top ten standout pieces of the week, five under £100 and five over.
Insulated Eisenhower Jacket, Dickies
This basic workwear jacket was worn by none other than Kanye West to the Met Gala this year. He did so in order to not stand out, so as to keep all the focus on Kim. Naturally, as anything else Yeezy wears, it immediately became the hottest item in menswear right now, with the bonus of being cheaper than a pack of YEEZY socks.
£35 via Dickies
Bruna Six Panel Hat, Pop Trading Company
In celebration of the children’s book character, Miffy, a rabbit created by Dutch author and illustrator Dick Bruna, this six panel cap from Amsterdam based label Pop Trading Company is playful and cool in equal measures.

COLLUSION Cuffed Cord Trousers, ASOS
The world needs more corduroy, I feel like it’s a very underrepresented fabric. These trousers from ASOS in-house label, COLLUSION, caught my attention because of their elasticated cuffs, which aren’t usually seen on straight-cut trousers.
£25 via ASOS
Shell Utility Vest, PacSun
Battle your way through the streets with this warcore vest from PacSun. Military style and utilitarianism are gaining more and more traction as top trends in menswear, so what better way to stay in style than to combine the two?
£60 via Selfridges
Poster Waistbag in Yellow, Eastpak by Raf Simons
Long time collaborators Eastpak and Raf Simons bring 90s punk culture to Eastpak’s most classic bags. This waistbag features a bold print on the inside, leaving the outside black, with black tonal hardware. Surprisingly it’s big enough to fit a 13″ MacBook, so it’s not just a pretty face.
£90 via LN-CC
Jordan 1 Retro High Travis Scott, Nike
The highly anticipated Jordan 1 x Travis Scott collab is finally here, in all its backwards-swoosh glory. Coming in a pleasant shade of coffee bean brown suede, this is definitely my favourite Jordan 1 release since the OG Off-White 1s. The retail price was £160.
£591 via StockX (Price at time of writing)
Tie Waist Woollen Blend Blazer Jacket, Sunnei
Doesn’t this jacket just look wonderfully comfortable? Taking ‘business casual’ to new heights, Italian label Sunnei have reinvented the two piece suit into something far more casual. Pair with the Loose Fit Cargo Pocket Drawstring Trousers for the complete look.
£760 via Browns
Love Lock Gold Bracelet, Luis Morais
Brazilian jewellery designer Luis Morais is best known for his unique bracelets, crafted from only the finest materials. This Morais-designed yellow gold bracelet imitates a combination lock, spelling out the word ‘LOVE’, when arranged correctly.

Patchwork Bandana-Print Cotton-Blend Shirt, KAPITAL
As an exclusive part of Mr. Porter’s curated Japanese capsule, this kimono-style shirt from Kojima label KAPITAL, based in Japan’s ‘denim capital’, takes inspiration from 60s America. Also available in orange.
£585 via Mr. Porter
Aloha Silk-Jacquard Shirt, Nipoaloha
Nipoaloha shows us that great style really is black and white. This gracefully balanced monochromatic shirt brings together Japanese and Hawaiian cultures with its faint Hawaiian flowery details, pearlescent buttons, Cuban collar, and relaxed fit.
